Riff
There's only so many times you can allow someone to let you down before you can't handle the disappointment anymore. When things change people change and it doesn't mean you forget about the past, it simply means you try to move on and treasure the memories. Letting go doesn't mean giving up, it means accepting things that weren't meant to be.. There's only a point in your life when you get tired of chasing everyone, trying to fix everything, but it's not giving up. You've got to do what's right for you even if it hurts. I've come to realize that in the end, everyone turns out to be the person they swore they'd never become.
Now What?
From having an inspirational teacher for almost 3 years, and then in just the blink of an eye she vanishes, I didn't know how I was going to react in this atmosphere of a place. All the teachers carried the same characteristic, they taught their lesson of the day, whether you understood it or not, gave you the assignment and that was it. Same stuff different day. Luckily we found another replacement who made me feel comfortable as the first, and actually cared about the students and the content in his lectures. When he leaves, I hope the school district takes the time to find a teacher of the same value. It's hard to try and focus somedays when I know we're just going to get another replacement, and who knows if they'll be as good as the first two. I guess all you can do is have hope.

Blog Reviews

I enjoyed reading your blog about your sister because it relates to how I view my sister as a role model, and having a younger sister, it makes me want to direct her in the right path as much as possible. That's good you learned from her mistakes and want to make the better of it. Having fun is one thing, but knowing how to control your actions is another.

I really like this. It's creative and unique to make words into characters. Cool comparison.

I like this riff. I'm glad you opened your eyes to see the world in a different view.

"She" By Martin Williams
They are in love, there, both passing among the others invisible and blind and in the books they are in love dieing to the memory quickly sacrificed (but no one writes about sacrifice without it) and she could keep walking take the train fall in love far away with a man she'll never live long enough to know too well, keep walking, vanish like a cold ghost among narrow lighted alleys before turning back to the comfort of old footsteps to a face she loves no more than a wall and a life secure as the nail in it.
